In 2016, under one of his lesser-known monikers, The Piano Man, Shock G. recorded a series of improvised solo piano sessions. These would be the last formal recordings by this brilliant musician before his passing in April 2021.
Mixing sophisticated Ellington-tinged jazz with his trademark joyful hip-hop sensibility, it is with great honor that we present The Piano Man on limited-run 180 gram blue and black splatter vinyl.
